Well yesterday evening ended with a few small buck sighting but nothing mature. It's 24 this ripening and calm. a barge just came down the river and hit his horn about caused me to jump out of my stand. Updates to follow

Just saw a spike. He acted like he was on a mission to get somewhere.

So far I've seen a couple bucks and 12 does and a bobcat. There on there feet this morning!!!

Just had 2 small bucks come by chasing a doe. They ran in bedding area 8 other does ran out.

I hope you've got something to eat and drink with you. Ain't no way I'd get down with all those does in the area and it being THE time of year it is up there!

Ended up seeing right at 50 deer yesterday. Had a stud come out a chase some does but that wanted no part of that. I grunted him from175 yds to 70 but he just wouldn't commit. I watched him and as the evening went on 2 other shooters all working a licking branch and a scrape. Hopefully he comes back out this afternoon or this morning.

41 this morning slight breeze out of the NW. Maybe they will be moving ahead of this fron that's headed our way.

Just missed a mid 150s 10 point. Hit a limb that sucks. He had a another dark horned buck with him that was a shooter. Thee lord blessed me with a chance I just couldn't get it done.

Hopefully he will come back through and you can make it happen.

I had luck getting them close while in Illinois with a snort wheeze.

Wind has picked to around 12 mph with gust up to 20. Temp is around 66. It's tough sitting in this stand replaying the shot from this morning. I've seen 3 bucks today and 3 does. I'm in a prime spot to make it happen this evening.
