I have no idea what has taken place. My rest was acting slow and I had my brother drop it off at a place in mobile. Said I needed new rest and heck, I reckon. They said would have me fixed up. This was Saturday and today they called at lunch, hey you know we don't have a left handed rest. Crap! Called Scott at bowhunter proshop and he said he could have me fixed up by this evening for the deer in the morning. I went by said store and picked up the bow. The rest was just barely put in and the string that activates the rest was pulled out. Well I get to the proshop and as soon as I hand it to Scott he says I have a problem. The string is not centered even close on my string stop. He loOks it over for hours and can't put his hand on it. He put the rest on there and it is tearing hard left. He can move the rest over anymore cause it is hitting the riser. Wow. He said I need to send it back to Mathews. So he didn't recommend me hunting with it in the morning but brought it home and shot 30 shots and they were all great shots after moving sights. It's clearly out of wack but gotta try in morning. After tomorrow to Mathews it goes. His only guess was bent riser but says he has no idea how. I told him not to break it down till tomorrow to know for sure.

Is one of the limbs twisted?

It doesnt look to be. He said he wanted to strip the bow down completely to lay it flat. To check it out.

Maybe a bent Axle? Or like shaw said Limb might be a little out of center.

I am a bow hunter, not a tech so I have no idea. I was just going by what he said. He's going to fool with it a little more but said most likely it is going back. Fingers crossed. So. Who has a lh 28.5 draw to let me borrow around mobile.

Any way you can post some pics, specifically of the lower cam and idler wheel from the backside like your holding the bow to shoot it?

Well. My bow was returned today. It had a bent riser and weak limb. Don't really have no idea how it happened but that's what Mathews said. They replaced to riser and both limbs. Mathews did a great job. The only problem was they give me long enough to shoot the chill.

I just got my chill r from Scott and it was a hard choice between it and the sdx he has setup!

Yea. He let me shoot his bow and it was fine. I just couldn't see buying another bow yet though but man it was nice.

It was just Scott working the day I went in so it took a little while to get me setup, for other customers coming in, so I was there a good while. I absolutely wore myself out from shooting the sdx and htr. It's amazing how quiet the htr is, the draw cycle took a few shots to get used to but I was very impressed. The crazy part is I went fully planning on ordering a nitrum turbo!
