I was at a hunting club in Georgia back around 1990. We had been there for a week and a fella had bought him some everclear and drank a bit every night to get right. About Friday evening we are all standing around a campfire and he takes a last pull on that bottle til it was empty.
He tossed that bottle into the fire and the residuals of that everclear caught fire and turned that bottle into a Bottle Rocket. Came out of that fire and hit that ol boy right about where the shin meets the knee. He fell over a stump and busted his elbow on a piece of split firewood.

Because of that, weirdly enough, cake decorators and violin restorers cannot ply their crafts as easily. The high-content hooch helped them dilute the varnish for restoring old violins and cake decorators used it for their icing or whatever. They can't buy it in Maryland, but they can get it from other sources.

In college after winning the conference championship we had about a 5 hour charter bus ride home, and our head coach decided he wasn't gonna ride the bus back with the team so it was on. We dumped out the baseball and filled the buckets with beer and ice. Then had 2 gallons of ever clear and 2 gallons of blue Hawaiian punch. Bus ended up breaking down on the way home which made things a lot more interesting. Needless to say most of us needed rides when we got back

Ive held the trashcan for a buddy as he puked everything in his system up. I don't drink anymore but the smell of that made me never want to see that stuff again.
