I hunted with my cousin Sunday at his place on Elk river. I saw a couple scrapes but the bucks were still together. He saw 8-9 bucks and they were fighting some.

I saw about 15 does and we didn't get in the stand until 3:30. Never hunted there until Sunday but that place was unreal. We were about 1/2 mile apart.

Our rut is usually mid November for wide ass open deer running nuts. Our youth hunt is this weekend and then 2 weeks of muzzleloader before gun opens up. There will be some studs killed in November. I'm actually excited about deer season this year. I've went 3 times and it has been open for a month. That's good odds for me. smile I'll gun hunt a few times and try to kill a buck for the contest, that's the only reason I go half the time anymore.
