This is mostly for the married guys but may apply to others.
Where is up?
I've been with my wonderful wife for 28 years and she is always putting MY STUFF up.
I come in, put my stuff down and then it's gone.
"Where is my stuff?".. "Oh, I put it UP."
Some of my stuff has been put up SO long I don't even remember what MY STUFF was.

Oh well.

Maybe this happens to you guys as well.
Nothing much.
I may come home. Make a sandwich and have some chips or something.
I clean the kitchen, or at least I think I do.
Wife gets home.
"What in the world did you cook, the kitchen is a mess."

Oh well.

I love when my wife puts stuff UP. Usually it never to be seen again.

I swear she's OCD. She can't leave anything alone.

So it's not just my wife. That's good to know.

Make you a man room in your house like I did...that's where all your stuff ends up going then...AND her stuff she wants you to fix.

I made one when we built the house. She assumes anything that is mine belongs in the floor in there. She also fills up half of my cabinets with junk and tells me i don't need ALL that cabinet space.

Mine has learned to leave my chit alone. She knows she's gonna get blamed for moving it weather I stuck it somewhere or she did.

When I can't find something I just ask my wife to find it. Usually it magically appears.

Universal.

My wife puts my stuff "up" all the time, but never pays attention to what she moved or where she moved it to. She's no help finding anything when I need it.

My wife has already figured out not to move my stuff. I can throw a fit like a 2 year old girl

When I was a newlywed I had purchased a set of Cyclone Headers for my GMC Truck and was installing them in the driveway. Things got irritating while trying to "adjust" the headers around the Hi Torque Starter so I went inside for a fresh glass of Iced Tea and to relax in AC for a few. Took my Brand New Snap-On 7/16 Combo wrench out of my back pocket and layed it on the bar, opened fridge and refilled glass, put Pitcher back up, wife walks by and asks for a glass also so I make her one as well. Sit in kitchen stool and sip tea and relax for 5, mabe 10 minutes, Turn around to grab wrench and finish job, it is gone...ask wife were it is and she acts like I just poured Motor oil all over the cabinets and counters....It's been over 25 years and I still have never seen that 7/16 Combo wrench again.

"UP" is close to the same place where "WE" must do a lot of things, as in ...

"We need to clean all the stuff out of the gutters and then paint them."

"We need to get that firewood moved from the side to the back."

"We need to fix the loose boards on the fence, dig out that drainage area so it won't flood and then trim those tall bushy weeds behind the fence."

"WE" means "you" of course, because "WE" have never cleaned gutters, painted gutters, moved firewood, fixed boards, dug drainage areas, trimmed weeds or anything of the sort as a twosome. Ever.
