Actually he was telling him that he could keep weed in his dorm room. Then he told him if he needed weed money he could find a student in campus beat the crap out if him and take it. Why would he not try to teach him? Are YOU kidding?

Sorry, but my 20 year old still needed a fathers guidance. I guess he is delayed. I don't care who raised them, 20 year olds still need teaching and guidance.

What does a Bama player have to do with it?

rolleyes

I would be willing to bet if Winston played for Bama or AU you would be very critical of him. It's silly to defend a man with such obvious poor character just because he plays for your favorite college football team.

^^^ truth.

Winston is a clown. I used to be dissapointed that he didn't come to Alabama. Now, not so much.

I was not defending Winston. His actions and behavior are ridiculous. I was saying that there is nothing wrong with Jimbo teaching a young man(kid) how to behave and carry himself. If he was at Bama and Saban was seen doing the same thing I would applaud him as well. I have spoken with one of Saban's most accomplished players who has been in the NFL for 10 years. He told me how Saban gave him guidance. The truth is you probably love Bama and all the other programs are less than. Typical Bammer.

The fact that he has to say anything to winston at this point shows that he just doesn't get it.

I'm not saying this to be funny but, I think Winston has a cognitive deficit with a lot of ADHD thrown in. I've read where he had a 4.0 GPA in high school taking advanced classes. I just don't see that as truth.

I feel that you are correct. He just saw the open man and threw it, but the play was set up for a qb run and he would have walked in. That play has to haunt him at night.

Say whatever you want about his off-the-field antics.....

BUT, to say that he is anything less than a GREAT QB that seems to get even better under pressure AND a strong leader who can rally his Team is a sign that you are a Homer and need to re-evaluate your view of the game!!!

And, there is WAY too much emphasis being placed on the off-the-field activity of almost all the big name players right now.

A double pick and of course a SEC homer calls it a no call.

The FSU player did exactly what he was supposed to do. He stuffed his man at the line and prevented him from going out on a route. If you have the ability to watch the play without picking a team, watch the play in slow motion again. EVERY team in the country runs that play and it goes without a call 99.99% of the time. Call me a homer if you like. I don't like either FSU or ND. I just hated to see a great game end that way.

I agree that the call was right however, that call could have been made several times during the game but wasn't.

I have watched the play several times. The ND receiver that was closest to the qb was jammed at the line and there was contact by both players that could have went either way, I concede to that, but the other receiver ran straight to a defender and blocked him, there is no doubt to that. You put both together and it was an easy call for a double pick play. What should be a tough pill to swallow is if they would have ran a qb run play he would have walked into the end zone. From what I see they just ran the wrong play or the qb made a bad decision on the play.
