Get you a good back pack. Quarter them up and pack them out. I only have a limited space to hunt. Leaving remains there I'm afraid would blow the spot. I know people will tell you go back and you can kill one standing in the guts, but it doesn't work for me. Everytime I've left remains, that spot was done for the season. Daniel, Explain please. I won't even field dress one in a honey hole. What are you guys doing with the ribs, stomach, and intestines? I was just picking. but I have gutted a ton of deer in the woods and go back to same place and see deer. I have also killed deer around the "bone pile" at camp. If you don't want no innards or bone where you hunt, then do what suits you best.

Get you a good back pack. Quarter them up and pack them out. With a deer I would but hogs are a pain in the butt to quarter in the field. What makes them harder to quarter? On the ones I've killed the skin seems to be tighter I guess is the word. You can't just get them started and pull the skin down like a deer Laying on the ground may be different. I've only cleaned them hanging up like a deer. When hanging, I can skin a hog faster than a deer. Hmm maybe I need more practice with hogs. I've cleaned several hundred deer and I can have one quartered up in no time but the 4 hogs took me about an hour -hour and a half to skin and quarter.Trying to be careful and not get pig aids was a big concern.
We will burn that bridge when we get there

Try making 2-3" strips long ways with a gut hook. Then take a pair of pliers and grab it at the top and it'll peal right off. This may not speed things up for you, but it did for me.

I hunt Wheeler refuge and I've used a red radio flyer wagon for years. Easy Cheap and gets the job done I attach it to my Mtn. Bike with an extension rod on it with a swivel.
NOW is the time for all GOOD men to come to the aid of their country.

I built my own using rigid conduit (welded) & a set of wheels off a high wheel push mower. The only disadvantage is it won't fold up like a store bought & takes up more bed space in the truck. It really makes getting a deer out of the woods MUCH easier even with 2 people.
