My Dad had a real bad squirrel problem at his house. They were eating the eves off the house and getting in his attic bad. He bought one and killed a few with it but he's been much more effective with 22 shorts.

I had one for a short while, it wasn't much quieter than a .22 so I returned it. It's been a few years ago though I think they make some that are some much better now. Read good things about the Gamo whisper.

Yeah, and now that 22 ammo is more rare than hens teeth, it makes sense to own one. 22 cal pellets are cheap enough you can afford to shoot all you want.
