Redfield Rebel binoculars are VERY good glass for the money. They would be very good glass for double the money. They are clearer than my Nikon Monarch binos. I haven't used them late in the evenings to see how they do in low light conditions and I don't know how durable they are but they do have the Redfield Full Lifetime warranty.

Now the story.

I went to Academy this afternoon to get a trail camera. While I was there I ended up getting a pair of Redfield Rebel 10x42 bino's as well. I needed a new set of binoculars a couple years ago and bought a set of Nikon Monarch 10x42's and they are okay but I wanted to get a decent pair for my son. He's 12 and tags along almost every hunt with me. I bought a pair of Redhead binos last year and when I got home with them I should have thrown them in the garbage. I didn't expect much for the price but got less.

I wasn't really shopping for binos today but I walked by the optics counter and the Rebels on sale for $119. I just looked and they are $179 at Cabelas, and $149 at opticsplanet.com

It's unusual for me to make a spur of the moment purchase like this, but I'm glad I did. These binos are rated 4.8-5 star on every website I've looked on after getting home with them.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

I have a set been using for two years. You will not see a difference in them and the nikons.

For the money, I love mine.

They are on the same level as my steiner.

When I bought mine, I spent a good hour comparing everything bass pro had. Those were probably the best under $300.

Could tell a little one you hit the $300-$400 range but not enough to spend the extra.

I've had mine a couple of years now and I think they are great. I'm rough on equipment and these have stood the test to this point. I've been nothing but pleased with mine.
