Camp Branch hunting club near Green Pond/Helena still needs a couple of members. 4000+ acres. Dues are $1150 per year. Plenty of greenfields and shooting houses. Gas lines and power transmission lines located on the property. Cane Creek runs through the land. Email Ken Gamble at gamblerack@gmail.com for more info.

used to be in this club. There were about 30 members when I was in it. This club is the BEST most fair club I have ever been in.

tons of turkeys and i mean tons. Their are several turkey hunters though. Deer numbers are decent. They usually kill one or 2 really nice bucks a year.

Sorry PR, haven't checked on this since I posted for Ken. We have 4000+ acres and the turkey areas are signed in each day. Each area is plenty big. Basically, there are 13 turkey hunting areas overall. Three or four serious turkey hunters and a few more that cycle through a few times a year. Basically, there are three of us that could show up any morning of the week. Mr. Lowery will be there 6 days a week. He's retired and has that luxury. It does not border the Cahaba, but, it is close. Look on Google maps and find Bibb Co 21 or Bishop Ridge Road. Our land is on the West/left side of the road. Cane Creek goes through the property.

Note that we do have the smartest turkeys in Alabama on this lease. smile

I've killed a few 1.25" birds off this place. But, we have lots of cutover and young growth pine now and the suckers roost in the small pines and play in the open areas. Go figure....

I am also a member here. It's been a great place to take my 11 and 13 year old kids. Nice fishing pond on the property too. Campground, shooting range, good friendly folks.

Do you still have some openings? Are the deer hunters mostly gun or bow? Lastly number of greenfields and stands?

Are you saying that out of 30 members and 4 thousand acres they only kill one good buck per year? That seems a bit low to me. Can you confirm average number of bucks taken top_cat?
