I'm looking for a new ground blind to bow hunt out of this year. I'm 6'2 and looking for one that I can stand up in and shoot out of. Anybody have any suggestions on one in the $100-$150 range?

why do you need to stand up to shoot?

Yeah c’mon. Daniel White

The barronett has a model you can stand and shoot in http://www.barronettblinds.com/home.asp#page1

I think they are more than $150 but if you search around on ebay you can find the demo models they use at outdoor shows and get them at a discounted price.

I also think ameristep recently came out with a blind you can stand up in and shoot not sure the name of it though.

Standing up on the ground is way too much movement IMO. Sit and shoot.. ....and practice that way. I killed a doe last year out of a ground box blind and found that sitting 90 degrees to the right in a chair was perfect for right handed shooting.

Bow hanging tomy left (pointing straight towards deer) created very little mmovement.

no reason a true bow hunter shouldn't know how to shoot sitting down, kneeling, etc. Most of my shots have been sitting. no need in standing to get caught if you don't have to smile

LOL, I just bought a blind X72 Blackout at BassPro, they let me have it for $89 because the box was torn. First time hunting out of one, I love my API Grand Slam. Bought it for when it was raining and extremely cold and windy. I like the blind once it is set up, taking it down is like a rubik cube puzzle. I keep trying it different ways, but it is still tough to get it back in it's pack.
