Who all bow hunts?

Prefer gun hunting but bow hunt just to be in the woods.

I used to but haven't in years. Sold by bow about 3 years ago. Gun only for me.

I'm mostly bow only

Only hunted Friday, then went to auburn for the game. I was in Harris county, outside of waverly hall

You probably came down 280 from Opelika to PC to the North bypass heading to Columbus. I hunt behind Atchley Steel near Dudley lumber in Salem and live up behind Home Depot in PC.

Ok I know right where your at, I lived in Columbus for a while. There's some good hunting along the river there

We haven't run cameras in a few years for some reason. Just never get around to it. I'm planting food plots this weekend though. Probably about 8-10 acres worth.

Got two cameras upstairs in the closet and did not put them out at all this year. As far as plots, the guy I hunt with, my wife's first cousin lives in Birmingham and we have no tractor or equipment to bush hog or plant. I have suggested we find someone to help us plant about 3 fields but he doesn't want to spend the money and I can foot the bill by myself. I want to plant a few small throw and grow plots myself in some areas I hunt mostly

Do any of yall know 270wsm or Southwwod7? They are our team members who aren't engaging. This team thing is really fun if all members participate and communicate frequently.
For the last 3 years, the teams I was on had over half its members that did not check in, participate in any discussion or even hunt. We all have something to say and share.

It shouldn't cost that much to find someone to come in and disc the plots and help you plant. I'd be all over it if I was you!

I'm here deertracker. I don't bow hunt but come rifle season I'll be in the woods every week. I put a trail can out on a new lease about a month ago and I am anxious to see what's on it. I plan on checking it this week. If I have any good bucks I'll post them here.

I took off Wednesday, so lord willing I'll be hunting all day Wednesday, sat morning, all day Sunday, and maybe Friday afternoon. Gonna be hunting some public land, I've got a lockon back in a briar patch with half a dozen trails and a bunch of beds around it. If the winds ok, I'm gonna smoke my clothes, go as scent free as possible and get in there super early to catch them coming back in to bed. Not sure if I'll shoot a nanny in there or not. Should be a primo big buck spot, so I may hold out

Read your testimony the other day. Great seeing how God continues working in your life. The hardest thing to do is to not give up and stay the course with God.
I am not much of a bow hunter either but usually go at least once a week.

My plans are to hunt Saturday morning till about noon. Busy week with B'day party Saturday afternoon along with a football game or two. But normally Saturday morning hunt is about all I can work in.

Hunted this afternoon, not much action. Had a 4pt under me for about 20 minutes. I'll be back at it in the morning. The spot I'm sitting in the morning has a large creek right under me and a feeder intersecting it. There's a water oak dropping right there that's getting hammered, and 2 really trenches out creek crossings within 20yds. Maybe something will happen

Went this morning but to no avail. Saw only one squirrel. No deer. Heard a couple gobblers not to far from my set up. Hunted transition area of pines and hardwood bottom. Nice and cool first thing but warmed up in a hurry. Left thermacell(big mistake) Yellow jackets and black gnats were plentiful.
Had hardly no wind what so ever until about 11:00 AM but had a grandchild's b'day party at 1:30 PM so I had to come down about an hour earlier than normal.
Busy week next week with one of Company's owners coming in and 3 football games with grandkids.
Next Saturday before i go again.

Headed out now, haven't been having much luck, decided to change tactics
