Bow season been open here since sept 20, but it's so dang hot and skeeters are so bad that I gave up. Had 3 days of decent weather to hunt. Saw a doe and a yearling yesterday afternoon. They passed by my at 14yds. They got a pass. Muzzleloader this weekend and I hope it cools of some. Hunting in 90 deg weather just ain't fun.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

Pulling my first batch of tree stand food off the dehydrator. Went with Cajun season for the deer jerky. I guess I will be good Friday the 17th until I shoot or my bowels release fury on my scent blocker suit and millennium lock on.
