Opening day I had a basket 6pt heading my way, only do get distracted and change course when a doe popped out. Then, an hour later I gut shot a piebald doe I had on trail camera. Figured I'd give her some time since I made a bad shot. Didn't find any blood and then it started raining and so no blood trail. Looked for about an hour and again the next morning and nothing. I'm sick that I couldn't find her, she was beautiful, I hope she made it. Yesterday, the doe that popped out on opening day had the 6pt in tow and she busted me! I'm going back today and changing stand locations to close the distance on that doe and buck. Good luck to everyone hunting this weekend!
