She is Also a Christian , and songs like this is what the youth of our nation could benifit from . If someone were to listen to this song and be moved enough by it to be saved and get Baptised
and follow Jesus , I dont care if she supports PETA or not.
I respect her right to support peta if she wants to , I don't see that as any kind of threat to my familys hunting heritage.
I was saved and Baptised with my Grandson 5 years or so ago ,and I am glad I did.
This song is AWESOME !!

Haha, you'd be surprised how many country stars are anti-gun, anti-hunting and pro-gun control not to mention the PETA blowhards. Lots of money going to theses causes from country music stars.

Country music today = Hollywood pop crap

Country music stars = Hollywood celebrity

These folks couldn't be farther from country, yet they promote themselves as such. Just tryin to take a dollar out of your pocket and being VERY successful at it.

I'm glad she has a good song, but I'm going to totally disagree with you on the above. It is their stated goal.

Say what you want to about her but she's got God given singing talent.

Hearing her sing this song, brings a tear to my eye.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Unless there is a distinctly streamlined, clearly articulated, contextually correct presentation of the gospel in that song, it won't happen. Simply stacking quasi-religious kindling around someone won't cause a fire.

But I reckon that comes across as confrontational and gruff (not my heart though). It's better than gangster rap!

You need to turn your hearing aids down..Shes one if tge most talented female Country singers out there today and im sure 20 years ago she woulda been just as successful.I seen Martina McBride a few years ago in concert with George Strait in Knoxville and shes a great singer too.Old fart

Saying Carrie can't sing is like saying Carrie needs to wear more clothes

And so does Carrie. Anyone who says that Carrie Underwood and/or Martina McBride can't sing apparently has no ear for music. None whatsoever. They both are on pitch on just about every note that they sing.
