Fell asleep too early. Glad to see KC advance. I remember their last post season series. George Brett was a true hitter and Brett Saberhagen was a tobacco chewing, juice on his chin pitcher that could bring it. Loved watching them in those days.

An Alabama boy played a role in the win. Josh Willingham got a pinch hit single for KC in the 9th. He's a Florence/Mars Hill Bible School/UNA man. Horrible Basketball Ref though! Heard he is retiring this year. That was a huge bloop hit though.
