Just had my 2nd bow set up by Rick Hellums at Archery Unlimited. Dang they know their stuff and they have the best prices I have found on bows. And if you use batteries like AA, AAA, CR123, or 6 vt for feeders they have prices that Walmart can't touch. www.archeryunlimited.net

Had them restring my bow a few weeks ago. They did a great job and are nice guys as well.

I bought my Z7 from them. Great people to deal with.

I get all my batteries for the business via AU. Great prices.

I've been doing my own bow work for about 17 years now. Rick is the only other person, besides myself, that I would trust to work on one of my bows.

When I bought my Reezen 5 years ago Sonny was working all the time and sent me to them to set it up. I bought the bow on ebay but all the accessories from them. I haven't had to touch it since and I've actually killed some deer with it!

I bought a Creed last December and shopped all around and really could not believe how much better their price was. Cheaper prices and the best at set up you can find. I like that!

Bought my Hoyt Faktor 30 from Rick after getting his suggestion and have absolutely loved the bow. They have great customer service, lowest prices and know their products!

Wow, sounds like I am the only person that wasn't that impressed with their work. I took my bow there to get new strings and cables about 6 weeks ago (wanted to use Shaw but location made the decision for me). I left it with them since they had to order mine. My wife picked it up for me since she works near by and when I got it home they didn't even have my string loop lined up with my peep, (no big deal, I moved it) and when I draw my peep isn't 100% turned.

It's no big deal, I was just expecting more.

Coming from someone that builds and installs strings: In order for your bow to be 100% set up to you, you need to be there to draw the bow so the peep sight can be set to you. Once it is, the installer will then tie it in and line your nock loop up accordingly. Expecting anyone to install a string set, tie on a nock loop and set your peep when you're not there is a bit much. Not trying to be a smart ass, just giving you a little insight from someone with experience.

That's why I consider it not to be a big deal, plus it's something that I can easily change at home.

Yep, I agree with Shaw. You really need to go to the shop.

Plus visiting the shop is half the fun. They checked the speed for me while I was there and also checked how much poundage I was pulling. They also have a very nice indoor range where you can shoot the bow after its been restrung.
