I would like to see a study done on how many ducks are killed by eating lead shot as are wounded and die later on after being hit with steel shot.
They caved in to the $#(*@$*#( animal "rights" wackos 30 years ago to ban lead shot and there isn't a damn iota of evidence to prove that lead was significantly harming waterfowl, and still isn't. Steel shot has killed more birds via wounding and death than any smidge of possible lead poisoning. Doesn't make a damn bit of sense ... lead shot sinks, waterfowl doesn't dive into the mud (well, some do) for food and water birds aren't ingesting enough shot to matter, either.
