I am looking for a club in Washington, Choctaw, Clarke, or Mobile county that has a high population of hogs and won't mind me hunting them in the off seasons with dogs? If anyone knows of any clubs in these counties please let me know. I deer and turkey hunt a little but am mostly wanting in for hogs. Any info is appreciated?

Good Luck, Man!!!

You would think that with all the Propoganda published by the State and other Agencies, and all the money currently being spent by them (which is OUR money, by the way), that it would only take a few minutes for someone to jump all over an offer to GET PAID to allow hog hunting......But, it just does not seem to happen!

Something does not add up! smile

You got that right. I have spent more money this year on leases and clubs then I ever have and have less land than I ever have. Nobody wants hogs but nobody will give permission to get them gone.

You let US dog hunters stop catching hogs and see what happens to the population. I myself with my dogs have caught 73 hogs since turkey season. I have several buddies that I hunt with that break 100 every year. Now if one man with a gun can consistently break 100 hogs a year then he is retired hunting a great spot or kills hogs for a living.
As for traps hogs ain't stupid they learn to not go in them. Dogs don't give them that option

Lots of hogs are caught in traps every year. ElkHunter is at around 400 right??? I also think MattBrock is at 200 or so correct?? And lots of others I know are at the 100 or close mark! I like trapping and Night Vision hunting myself. But I expect to get paid for it! grin LOL . I have thought myself about joining a club just to Night Vision hunt. I live in North Alabama, an have thought about Tuscalooosa county. I have a good club I like in Jackson County, but no hogs. I like to demo Night Vision and lasers and tuscaloosa is 2 hrs away. Hope you find what your looking 4 , The dogs crack was just for fun. rofl

I don't mind any of it. But Barry is not by hisself he has family and paying customers adding to that number. That's a lot different than somebody like my self that has to pay to do what I enjoy. My numbers are not how many was caught on the hunt i was on but the number that my dogs have found while haveing to work all week and 2 weekends a month. I am jus saying that dog hunters put in just as much if not more to reduce the numbers of wild hogs.

There are also numerous posts similar to this every year by STALK hunters that never get a response, either.

Face the Truth, 75% of the hogs in the State live on about 10% of the Land.

They have spread, true enough....
But, they simply do not provide the 'problems' that are depicted except to an elite few. The 'elite' part means that they get a LOT of attention.

Win the Lotto....buy up 7,8, 10 thousand acres and manage it to a 'T' for Wildlife while restricting all access and YOU can have a hog problem, too. Because, minus the Lotto, that is where the 'problems' are.
