Good woods/low light scope, that fire dot would be nasty at dark.

is that a 1 inch tube or 30mm? Does the reticle run on a battery or is just like a tru-glow sight and shines bright?

Only the dot in the center runs on the battery, it's switchable on/off and has about 5 brightness settings. The reticile is a standard duplex. When the dot is off you can't tell it's there, just black duplex. When it's on black crosshairs with red dot in the center. 30mm tube. Good scope.
Go to Leupold's web site and search it out , it'll show ya what it looks like.
