truedouble OP 14 point T Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 6,539 Birmingham	I noticed white oak acorns on the ground a few weeks ago, but just figured a bad storm came thru and knocked some out of the trees early. Went back this past weekend and saw more on the ground. Apparently they are dropping already, which by my calculations is at least 4 to 5 weeks early. Anyone else noticed this?

We didn't have any acorns falling last year and this year coming down too soon so I'm not sure what's going to happen this year. At least my food plots are looking a lot better than last year. Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.

Chestnut oaks were a different story. Never seen so many chestnut oak acorns in my life. Looked to be even bigger than normal too.
