I think, eventually, gay marriage will be legalized across the board, and honestly, I don't give a crap if it is. But I truly don't think sibling or parent/child marriages will EVER be legal. I also don't think human/pet marriages will ever be legal.
I'm not sure why that's always the conclusion people jump to when the topic comes up, but 9 out of 10 times, it is.

Gays deserve the right to be just as miserable as normal married people  but yeah, I always hear people say stuff like "they're destroying the sanctity of marriage"....well hetero married couples are at a 50%+ divorce rate, so I'd say we've done a pretty good job of that ourselves. I don't agree with it from a religious standpoint, but I think there are a lot bigger issues to worry about. Now, I draw the line at forcing private companies to provide services (wedding cakes, floral arrangements, etc) and at forcing churches to perform the ceremonies. and while some truly just want the right to marry, a lot of them want to force the above.
