The US is perfectly capable of dealing with the Islamic State. However looking for a long term solution to terrorism, is much like looking for a long term solution to cleaning your house. It doesn't work and will not work. Eventually we have to get our hands dirty and clean consistently or we end up living in filth.

Its time that we send a message to them and the rest of the world that we will not be pushovers or politically correct. We will stand up for ourselves and defend our nation and its people at all costs.

"HEY, lets arm the Syrian Rebels"

Syrian Rebels defeat ISIS

"Damn, Syrian Rebels are now starting trouble"

Yeah let's arm the Syrian Rebels but piss on the Kurds who have repeatedly asked for help, now the Germans are sending them arms and ammunition, how does this make us look. The one group of people in the region beside the Israeli's that we could possibly trust and we ignore them, great leadership there.

But who prays for Satan? Who, in eighteen centuries, has had the common humanity to pray for the one sinner that needed it most?

Best thing we can do is remove every American from the region and let them kill each other off. We have spend too many young American lives on these animals. Let them cannibalize each other and if we get wind they are trying something here just bomb em back to the Stone Age. I do not agree that a SINGLE US soldier be put on the ground over there. Been there, done that, didn't get good results. Tim e to try something different!
Our military is overburdened and exhausted. With the new budget cuts our soldiers will NOT be as well equipped, trained , and ready for action like they have been the last 20 years. I can't in good conscience agree with sending our kids to fight an futile war. History has taught us that these people have never and will never be conquered.

Just like when John McCain was in Syria screaming for us to join in the fray, we don't know who these rebels are. It gets old seeing our tax dollars sent to some cesspool only to have it used against us later.

I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again: there is zero to be gained fighting in the middle-east. Every time we intervene over there it comes back to bite us in the arse. And do not buy into the lie that they (pick a bad guy in the sandy places) hate America because of our (pick something you love: religion, freedom, way of life, etc.) It is all propaganda for the sake of feeding the war machine.

Exactly!!! So sick of seeing our boys and girls killed for nothing. A war over there isn't worth a single American life. We can bomb them remotely, if needed. Don't believe the lies we are told either. Half of that crap is lies.

I asked an educated Muslim fellow I worked with when I was mobilized over there what the solution was for all their crazy arse way of thinking. He said the only thing to do would be to NUKE the whole of them over there, and I said that would include him and he said so be it because them are some crazy sum beaches.

Our biggest problem is that every war we have fought since WWII we didn't fight them to win. Bad as it sounds you cannot win a war without killing anyone. I hate it but if we are gonna be in a war we need to kill LOTS of people and destroy EVERY bit of infrastructure that we can. Then let THEM rebuild with their oil money or simply cease to exist. Starting with Korea and progressively getting worse we have tried to win wars by being politically correct and trying to only kill a certain few leaders. I can guarantee that if we carpet bombed one country over there till it looked like a glass parking lot the rest of them will straighten up. If they don't start on another country. Hell if we had worried about killing civilians during WWII we would be speaking German or Japanese now. Of course with the liberal panty wearing voters we have now it is difficult to do.We are a product of what we have elected and that is very very weak.

Wars are normally won by making the average man on the street want to give up the fight. The Civil War really turned around when the average Southerner just wanted the war over, not caring who won. It worked against the Germans and Japanese during WW2, as well. I'll admit it would be difficult for me to order the deaths of women, children and non-combatants, but that's what it takes to get a complete victory. The populace has to fear you more than they fear their own government.
