gonna go sometime this week down to Gorgas on the Warrior.how deep & what type of structure should I fish this time of year?any tips on baits?could one of you guys maybe drive me to a spot, bait my hook, hook one & let me reel it in.....then gut it & fry it up for me???hehe wink

you need about 2or3 warm days and an incoming cold front
shallow- slow spinner bait, rattle trap, flip
deep- worm, jig, jiggin' spoon

Use a shad and a bobber!! or Crappie jig! hehe
Caught 13 crappie and 2 big sow bass last Sunday.
Can't wait for the fish fry.

william, I caught 3 bass that went over 3 pounds each right there where they unload the barges at the plant last summer.caught them in 5 casts, on a solid white 3/4 oz spinner bait with double colorado blades laugh that place is ate up with crappie too...
