We love it. I spend more time watching the tank than the TV. Check out the forums on Reefcentral.com. You can learn a TON there, and in reality, it's pretty easy to get a saltwater tank going and maintain it. My 90g was more work than this 300g. I've automated a lot on this one. It does it's own water changes through the attic into the garage from 60 gallons of premixed saltwater. All I do is mix a new drum once a month and the pumps change out 1.5 gallons a day for me. I basically just feed the fish daily and clean the glass every few days with a magnetic cleaner.

I did a while back. I ended up doing it myself as I already dropped a buttload of money into the tank and decided to save some money and do the woodwork myself. Took much longer doing it that way, but I'm glad I did in the end.

Wow that looks awesome! I eventually would have to pay some one to clean the tank regular. 30% water change on 300 gallons! I've got a 55g. I def spend a lot more time watching my tank than I do tv. I'm about to get out of the game also. Auburn doesnt have a thriving saltwater aquarium market, and it's becoming too difficult to get the things I need.

Thats why I set up an automatic water change system. I'm using a Spectrapure Litermeter III that changes 1.5 gallons a day. All I do is once a month mix up 60 gallons of fresh saltwater in the garage and leave it there in the drums. The Litermeter sucks it out of the garage, through the attic, and into the tank, and then removes another 1.5g's from the tank and dumps it to a drain through the attic. The topoff water does the same, from the garage through the attic.

Made it MUCH simpler than my 90g tank that this replaced!

I'm Jealous. Very nice! I've got a Biocube 29 with a few things in it. It really is a fun hobby. I've got more invested in lighting than the whole friggin cube. I have five Ecoxotic panaorama pros's stuffed into the hood. My cousin gave me the Biocube and my free aquarium ended up "costed" me more than I thought it would. BTW..great wood work. I read a lot of stuff on Nano reef and Reef Central.

Looks awesome. I am just getting into the hobby myself. I have had a 90 gal about 2 months. Going very slow with it. Hopefully in another month we will be ready for another fish or two. What fish did you have in the 90 before the monster was put in!

I had a 55 when I was in high school. The Lunare Wrasse was my favorite. He had lots of personality and fun to watch.

Take your kids hunting instead of hunting your kids.

I'd rather be LOST in the woods than FOUND in the city.

Drive a hybrid, I need your gas.

Your mind is your primary weapon. Never let it get rusty.

The Biocube 29 is what I started the hobby with. Great tanks, and as a matter of fact, I might get another to set up with seahorses for my wife.

Where is it located? I "might" know someone looking. 5ft 125? Drilled for overflows?

Located in B'ham. Yes, normal dimension 125. Not drilled. Base, tank, hood, canopy, included. Make me an offer. 15 flat steps to the back door, 10 flat steps to the driveway

The guy I know that wants one wants a drilled tank. Plus B'ham is too far away to make it work while.

Good luck with the sale though!

I had a Blue Tang, Sailfin Tang, pair of Oscillaris Clowns, and a Manderin Goby in the 90. The Tangs will outgrow it eventually though. Oh, I also had a Yellow Coris Wrasse in there.

Toss up some pics of that 90g!
