Wife got back with the groceries. She got one of those rolls of hamburger meat. We was gonna make dip with velveta and rotel. Opened up the package and the meats bad. Stunk up the whole kitchen..Been waiting for today for a while and they done made it start off bad..

never buy anything perishable from Walmart, especially meat. Walmart is only good for canned pre-packaged stuff. Buy your grocery store meat from a local store with a meat man you know personally.

I've always used sausage, never used hamburger. I make it with deer sausage, thats one of the reasons I get so much deer sausage

I've been told by successful cattle farmers to never buy beef from wal-mart I don't mean to be rude by asking this, but what would a cattle farmer know about the beef walmart sells?

I know from 32 years experience that if you get more than 3 days shelf life out of ground beef then you are doing something extra like gassing or preservatives.The only thing I trust from wally world is name brand prepacks like lunchmeats, sausage,bacon and such.I cut my own meats at the store but if I am away from home I usually go to an independent.
