The current pair I have now is non-insulated. I have hunted some extremely cold weather with them. Now my feet did get cold on the really cold days plus I was hunitng in 3' foot of snow while in IL last season. These boots are all I have worn the past two seasons. They do well in our temps with the right socks on your feet.

I plan to buy the 800 gram boots for my late season hunts up north. Several of my buddies own these and have great things to say about this boot in really cold temps.

What I like about them the most is they are light and comfortable!!

Awesome thanks. I figured they would work with all our temps and the right socks and preparation

These are the best boots I've ever had. My feet freeze in lacrosse. I think they are out of stock though.

I always wore Lacrosse, until Mucks came on the scene. Now I have no choice but to burn my Muck boots and go back to Lacrosse. I always like Lacrosse anyway. They stand up to abuse longer than Mucks, and the only reason I wore Mucks was because they were slightly more comfortable. Back to Lacrosse now.

I missed the muck situation. What happened?

Matt do you not like soemthing about the UA boot? I find them very similar to Mucks but much lighter and better made. I quite buying Lacrosse due to them cracking around the ankle area after one year use. The new one everyone speaks highly of does appear to be a better boot.

I haven't tried UA yet. Might do that.

I've got a pair of UA Haw (I think that's right) boots that I got the first year they came out. I like them better than Mucks unless it's 20 degrees or colder. They are much easier to walk in than Mucks.

Fur get you a pair of the 800 gram HAW boots for those temps and you will be set. Several of my buddies have the 800's and love them in cold weather. I am going to buy a pair a little later in the year to try myself.

Irish Setter Rutmasters. Comfortable and warm. They're well made too.

I would like to try the UA boots but I have huge calves and they don't appear to have a gusset like lacrosse. I tried on mucks and it felt like there was a tourniquet on my calves & that was just a sock on, not tucking my pants in there like when I'm hunting.

Dang y'all are killing me talking about insulated rubber boots. I start wearing them Oct. 15 and my feet burn up in the uninsulated most of the year.

Ive had just about everything at one time or another. The UA HAW is the most comfortable boot ive ever owned. Super light.
