So I called the man that owns the land behind my subdivision and asked if it was ok to clear a few feet into the woods beside my house to make it look a little better. He says sure. I ask if I can throw out some corn to see if I can get some deer coming up and his reply was, "sure, they've been eating my garden up. If you've got a bow you can take a few out if you want". Why I do have a bow and I will do my part so that your garden is not ravaged by these pesky animals. So I put a feeder and my camera out and low and behold the deer have arrived.

Oh yea, I will be making a trip over there to hook him up. Guy is super nice. Since I work so much I can slip out beside the house and let the wind out of one of these deer without having to drive to the camp 2 1/2 hrs away.. I'll be posting pics when I pull my camera in a few day...

So I got home from work yesterday and took the wife and kids for a short walk and when I returned home there were 3 deer at the feeder eating it up. They looked at us for a moment and kept on eating. Gotta be a big daddy around tending the herd.

Land that people will allow you to hunt for free is like finding a 100 dollar bill in the floor at the dollar tree. x2
