I hunt with one just like it, my favorite rifle.

I kept going back and forth between it and this Winchester, took them both to the range yesterday and fired about 25 rounds through each. Accuracy for both was very good with my hand loads. I use 30-30 for mountain and stalk hunting. I decided to keep the Mod 94 because its lighter and the profile is slimmer. Otherwise I'd keep it.

You have any trouble with that top eject and low mounted scope on that 94?

Nope - but I don't act like I'm Chuck Connors either. Works just fine.

I have a scope mount like that for a 94.
