Driving north on I-65 just south of Evergreen near MM89 I saw a doe maybe 10yds off the interstate licking the afterbirth off a fresh fawn. Count back south central bama folks some where right around 2/1 I'm guessing.

We saw one Thursday night while gator hunting, it was bedded down 1 inch from the water. Didn't see mama. Wilcox county, Alabama river. Also saw another one with mama on a dirt road close to there

Yeah c’mon. Daniel White

I saw a heavy bred adult doe crossing the road in front of me last night here...

Most of our does haven't dropped yet. (south Montgomery County). Last couple of years, we have seen spotted fawns in late November.

Saw a mama and 2 along Taylor Rd. In Mtgy the other day. I'm guessing a couple weeks old.

Got two cameras out in northern Talladega county (obviously not South AL), and there's one doe that's had a fawn since late July / early August (just guessing), and two other does that look like they ate whole watermelons. There are a few pics of does (not sure if it's one or multiple deer) that do not appear pregnant at all. Not sure if they're pregnant but just not showing, already dropped but the fawn's not with her, never was pregnant, or what. Those two cameras are about 1/4 mile apart (+,-) in the same block of woods. Haven't taken a single buck picture in a month now that those cameras have been out.

Saw my first fawn about a month ago. Two days ago saw 2 more small ones with their mama. I guess the coyotes are feeding good now...
