Been creeping this forum for a year or two and finally decided to join today. Live in millbrook and looking for a place to hunt. Don't matter if it's bow only or rifle also. Been hunting Tuskegee nat forest and lowndes wma for a few years and had decent luck but would like to find a small piece of private land to hunt. Honestly could care less if it's 20 acres or 1000, just looking for somewhere closer to work and home for a quick hunt when I get the chance. Appreciate any leads.

I appreciate it. Really trying to find something closer to be honest. I've seen plenty of deer on lowndes and I just can't see paying for a place to hunt unless it saves me alot of drive time. I live in millbrook and work full time in montgomery so if I could find some place close I may be able to get a hunt in after work. I've been looking at this forum for a while hoping to stumble across someone with a small parcel I might could hunt. With the season growing closer I figured I may as well atleast ask.

^ I have heard of it, but never hunted it. I have tried searching the web to find the hunting information, do you know of a link where I can find some more details?

Don't know of a link other than just searching on the corp of engineer website. It might be worth your time looking Into especially if you have a boat

I found the info. Thanks for the heads up, I will give this place a scout and see what it may hold.

Here is a link to the map.

Once upon a time IP had some small tracts near 82 outside of Prattville. Google RMS hunting leases.

Just took a look at the aforementioned corp. Land... thanks for the heads up. May be an additional option for me. Still looking at the time, to no avail so for. May have to ride over and check that land out in the next week or two. Any clue how to get permission for corp lands?

Print a permit out on there website. See if gunterhill still allows bow hunting
