The spine would be too weak. My suggestion would be to drop your weight to 65# and get a 340 spine 7595. You don't need to pull 70# to kill a whitetail. Your bow will tune better and be quieter at 65#, especially with your draw length. If you stay with 70# you will need a 300 spine shaft.
