I currently have my pins set at 20, 30, 40 and 50yds. I'm considering setting my first pin at 25yds and the other 3 at 40, 50 and 60yds. I usually hold my 30yd pin a little low anyway so I figured setting it at 25yds would be the way to go. What do y'all think?

I have the G5 optix XR2 and i have my 1st/fixed pin at 25 and my floater 30-60. When I shot all fixed pins, I set them at 25-35-45 and so on

X2 But if i were shooting multiple pins I would set them at 30, 40, 50, and 60. It's going to be a lot easier shooting lower at 30yds and closer in than holding high over 30yds shots. I shoot a HHA and it's locked in on 30yds so anything closer I never move it just aim a little low.

I set my first pin at my max distance, before my arrow starts to drop. My old setup was 0-20 yards. My current setup is 0-30 for my first pin. My suggestion is max out your first pin, so you don't have to do Kentucky windage.

With speeds of these modern bows you shouldn't need so many IMO. I use 2 , a near pin and a far pin. In between I split them. Bout 35 yds is the max of my happy zone. Hard to shoot that far in timber, maybe a plot.

I'd set them at 25, 35, 45 and 55. Or, do as TC suggested and forget all that crap and get yourself an HHA.
