Me and my two boys like to shoot a lot and we are rough on fletching. Thought about getting a fletcher. Wondering if I could save some money doing them ourselves or keep going to the bow shop?

A Bitz and fletching tape. Add a drop of glue front and back. You will wonder why you waited to long. Bite the bullet and buy the Bitz.

A bitz is a great one to get. The Bohning tower jig is another good one. It does all three vanes at the same time.

I've had my bitz for about 30 years. Never used anything else. I would recommend the bitz

I like the carbon ez fletch, but that's the only one I have used. I had a bitzenburger, but never tried to learn to use it, so I sold it.

Glad this thread started up as I've been thinking about doing this myself. I've got a great workshop so why not ...

Anyhow, I'm a noob so where do I go to learn to fletch my own arras?
