looking at youth bows for my son. He is using a old youth bow now that I used when I was a kid ( I think it is a scout made by Indian Archery in the 70s). The Mathew Genesis seems ok I think it would better to teach him on a bow that has a set draw length.I just wanted to ask if any one had any suggestions.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

I bought my son a Parker Sidekick several years ago. Adjustable draw length, and draw weight. They have an upgrade on the limbs for $50.00 instead of having to purchase a new bow.

I bought my son a Diamond Razor Edge a few weeks ago. Draw weight adjusts from 20 to 60lbs and length is 19 to 29 inches. Very lite and really quiet. Awesome little bow.

Im with TC, Bear Apprentice 3 looks great and can be turned up quite a bit (15#-60#) so it will allow your son to shoot for many years.

Another one to look at is the Mission Craze and the Mission Riot. Both have a lot of adjustments. My son has the Riot and have had no problems at all.
