I am looking at buying a new 580 series mini 30! . I have heard
the bad news on the older ones but was looking for some one with first hand knowledge of the new improved 580 series , does it have deer hunting accuracy out to 150 yards ??

I'd be interested to know myself although the mags are still too high.
I had an older Mini 30. Every cheap SKS/AK with cheap surplus ammo I've ever shot would shoot circles around it.
I also thought it was too loud to deer hunt.
Piece of junk.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Piece of junk. I agree with this too the T! I love the look of them and the uses they offer but the one I traded a perfect running AR a POS. I will never own another one.
