I don't think a polymer handgun will hold up to the recoil of a 44. Don't think I wanna shoot one either. The 10mm has a higher max pressure than the 44 mag. Are you saying that a 10mm has more recoil than a .44? Pressure may be higher, I have no idea but I have never shot a 10mm that seemed to pack as much punch as a 357 magnum. To me they are much closer to a .40 than a .44 mag. Shoot a .44 out of a 2.5 pound glock and it gonna hurt your hand I believe. No. That 44 has more recoil. Just say that the pressures aren't what's holding them back. I don't know that the recoil in a Glock would be anymore than the very large caliber wheel guns. Maybe so. Guess I'll never know.
