I've killed deer with quite a few different calibers but I've killed the most with a 300 win mag and the 243 is a close second. Fits like a glove and i know what it will do at long ranges shooting Hornady 165 gr. super performance SST ammo. Deadly combination. It's amazing at how many people don't know what their rifle will do at 300 yards.
