Would you pay DOUBLE what you are currently paying for a lease to hunt private, never-before-leased property? Which would include only yourself, maybe your best buddy, and only the property owner as hunters. Unlimited access, all game included and enough acreage for those mentioned? What if it didnt include Turkeyrights?

Do you seriously expect to have a shot at a 135"+ gross Alabama whitetail deer every year?

In the last 10 years, has your Alabama hunting property produced a deer which meets/exceeds any one of these measurements:
21" inside?
11 or more scoreable points?
6" bases?
a 12" tine?
145" gross?

Thanks

Hah can't wait to beat my 145 3/4 inch 8 point this year, and I got a buck on camera that I think will do it!

Just kidding.. sounds like a killer wish list..I have a lease with only 2 hunters which is great however would never have a 145" on it. I have had the first 4.In 5 years of hunting never shot a 120+.

1. No way I would pay double of what I'm currently paying. I don't even attempt to lease land that I can't turkey hunt on.

2. On properties that I have leased for probably the last 10 years, there have been bucks on camera every year that were over 135". I definitely don't expect to kill one of these deer every year but the opportunity is there.

3. Yes to all

No on paying double, especially if no turkey rights

No I don't expect to kill a 135, only killed one in my life that grossed 134

No on 21" spread

One 12 point killed, not by me

2 with 6 1/8" bases

One with a couple 10 1/2" tines

Nothing that scored 145

1 no
2 I've only seen maybe 2 over 135" and the places I've hunted have killed very few over that mark so no
3 maybe on some but I've only hunted here one season so far.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I have a problem eating deer horns they are kind of tough so I really don't care about 135 plus antlers. I stopped hunting for horns a long time ago, now I just hunt for the enjoyment of being outdoors.

No. If I pay any more to hunt anywhere then it is going to be out of state. Probably back in my home in South Texas.

I expect to have a shot but thats just me being optimistic over realistic because of what we get from our trail cameras each fall.

Yes to all of the others.
