Preschool. My oldest son got to go to preschool for 30 a month just like everyone else. 2 years latter my daughter was ready and it had become a state funded program. Now it was income based mad? Ok mr principle. How much will it be. Well your in the highest category so it will be 300 a month. Ok. Well what's the lowest anyone will have to pay? Him: free!! WTMFH. So I'm going to pay a car payment for my girl to go to school and hicky do setting over here that don't do squat gets to go for free ? Hail no. My girl and youngest boy got deprived of preschool and punished because their mom and dad went to school and done something!! Not that it mattered. My girls lowest grade was a 98 last year. And I wouldn't have minded paying if it was more evenly distributed. I just set back and ask how. They want me to pay 4-5 times what some pay for housing just to go to a public preschool. Rant over.

I'll pay for yours if you will pay for mine. $300 ain't squat for daycare.

I don't have daycare. I have grandparents. And daycare has nothing to do with this situation.

Ok, I'll pay your preschool if you pay mine then.

And if other kids got to go to the daycare for free because they set on their butts wouldn't you be mad?

Are y'all not reading. I don't care to pay for it. It's the fact others get it free.

This is not a daycare thread or a how high preschool cost. It's a how wide a gap it is from kid to kid.

And the bad thing is. The principle told me they had rather have the low income kids. They get more government money. Same with free lunches. They want as many as they can get.

All the really good social programs that help the truly needy and spread love & democratic joy always go back to money.

Always.

It's simple it's like every other program chit ain't free we gotta pay it for them..I've had several serious talks with my children about this kinda crap.Their only 10 & 11 and it already pisses them off knowing when they go too work one day they'll be doing the same.. smile

Want to hear about the professional athlete from around here that has kids with several women? We pay for the kids schooling because they're children of unwed mothers. The system is a total mess, just like the folks running it want it to be. And if you're one of the folks willing to abuse a system that wants to be abused, who would you vote for?
