They had to ban them at Barber Motorsports Park. They were getting too popular and people were flying them over the track while bikes and cars were on course. It was a safety issue. The professional tv camera crews are allowed to use them.
I've seen all sizes of them and would love to have one. Maybe soon!

I have a guy here at work that is building one. He is a electronics guru. He tells me that once he's finished it will have the capability to range from Bham to Nashville and back on one battery charge and top speed will be close to 70 mph. We are supposed to tinker around with it in a few weeks.
That's impressive! The possibilities are endless if he is accurate with his prediction. I also see major regulations in the near future.

From a business aspect, the savings on fuel, time, wages and over head will be astounding. The problem will be when there are thousands of these things crashing and being high jacked every day. I'm going to start delivering (legal) prescription drugs. Walgreens and cvs will make me RICH!

I believe I heard on the news the other morning that the faa shut down one of the farmers here in north bama from flying one? I'll see if i can find a link..
