Try leavellwood farms in Greene county. Give them all call and see what they can work out with you. It's a top-notch operation. Isn't this pen deer hunting?

I'm guessing the school hunts would be tax deductable? yes, they are tax deductible. great for helping the children and a benefit to you. some of these schools could not make it without the extra income the hunts provide. we've been attending the conecuh springs hunt since '06. the people you meet will become lifelong friends and you can watch the children grow. it's nice to return every year and see the changes. it's fantastic!!

Also look at Macon East Academy in Montgomery or Southwest Georgia Academy in Damascus Ga.

Interested to see some more opinions about this. I'm deployed to Afghanistan right now and me a a few buddies are looking for some place to go on a trip in January if we're home by then.
I've looked at the benefit hunts but it looks like most don't include lodging or lodge you in a hotel , and we would like to be able to stay in a lodge as a group.
We are probably looking to stay in the 3 day 1500.00 range, and family hunts would be better since most of us would be carrying kids.
If anybody has any info on a good lodge or if any of the benefit hunts have lodges available for rent during the hunt please let me know.
Thanks The Lowndes Academy School Hunt includes lodging. We lodge our hunters at different private camps and lodges around the County and they are usually housed by group so everyone in your group could stay together. Or you could check out the Southern Sportsman Lodge near White Hall which is the headquarters for the hunt. All meals and deer cleaning are done at the lodge. They usually house hunters for our hunt. Check them out at Southern Sportsman Lodge . Even if you chose not to do a school hunt, the Southern Sportsman Lodge would be a good hunting operation to consider. Jim Mason and Dave Lyon have been in they hunting business for over 30 year and they run a first class outfit. They are friends so I am probably a little biased but you should check them out.
