Ok, I just recently bought a new PSE Surge and had a QAD drop away put on it at the bow shop and it was (supposedly) tuned. My issue here is I've done shot it around 20-25 times and I've noticed black rub marks on my fletching on all arrows. Yes my cock feather is straight up. What is causing this and how to fix it?

The rest is not timed correctly or they have the wrong launcher installed for your model bow.

Get someone else to watch the rest as you draw it back and see if it pops up to 90 degrees to the shelf in the last inch of the draw cycle or earlier or not at all.

put some lipstick on the leading edge of all your vanes and shoot your bow and then see if it comes off on your launcher or your top bar on your rest, that should paint a clearer picture

Yeah c’mon. Daniel White

Thanks for the help fellas. And the lipstick trick did wonders to help me. Come to find out the knocking point was to low and had to swap launchers. Driving tacks now with no fletching issues.
Thank again.

Nocking point too low? Sounds like your shop did a helluva job tuning it. rolleyes
