Just curious on how long yall leave your cameras out this time of the year before you check them. I put out five cameras on the 4th and was originally planning on leaving them until Labor day weekend but have some concerns with batteries, theft, and cards getting full. One spot we have always had a minimum of around 2,000 pics in just a weeks time and having over 6,000 is not uncommon. In late sept through the first week of November I usually run about ten cameras every week or two depending on work schedule. I dont run any after the second week of November until after season is over. What's yalls timeframe for checking cards during the summer months?

Put them out in April, only check 3 times, my final preseason pull is going to be sometime in September. This is only the second year I've had the 2 cameras I got. I think I'm gonna leave them out during season for the first time. I really just use them for fun, need more than two where I hunt to actually turn it into a tool for patterning deer.

I have a moultrie M-80 that We put out last august at a feeder in the swamp. Move it last wednesday. 2234 pictures, and had 20% battery life. I like m-80 cameras. I check them at 12 noon every 7 to 10 days

Once a week in September. I check them with more regularity during the season.

Gonna put mine out this weekend, I check em every 2-3 weeks. I'll take them up a week before bow season. I'm only interested in the finished product and where they are on Oct. 15.

I have 6 out on 750 ac. and I don't think that is enough. I check mine 21 days apart June-Feb. and I still done get all the deer that roam the place. But by checking them this early I all ready know where I will be Oct. 15th. and laying the minerals to that area. I will move that camera first of Oct. and not go back till the 15th. That way I'm not tempted to go there.

I'm headed to my camp this coming weekend to put my cameras out. I'll check them every 3 to 4 weeks up until gun season opens.

Leave them out year round. Check them every 4 weeks or so

Take them down May through July. I hunt multiple tracks of land and they are my number 1 scouting tool for both deer and turkey

I usually put mine out 4th of July weekend and check them once in Aug and dove opener morning then pull them the first time I hunt the area....if hunting new ground, I'll continue to run them and only check when hunting the area and/or during or just before a rain....

Once a month or so.

every couple of weeks when I'm at the camp working

I use mine mostly during bow and rifle season to see what deer are moving through certain areas (and when). These are spots that I already hunt so I swap cards when I'm in the woods every week or so. Usually by late November I start seeing new bucks from the neighboring properties that I never see in the early fall. I also leave my cameras up through the spring to see which bucks made it through the season alive.

We put them out about July 1 and then consolidate them down at beginning of season ( food plots, heavy trails, feeders etc.) until end of season, checking them about every 2-3 weeks.

Put them out last week over mineral sites for inventory checklist and leave them out throughout the season. Will transition them to scrapes and trails around Oct though. Seeing as I'm in tampa, won't check them again til Oct 14th, maybe late September if in lucky enough to slip up there one more time before season starts.

I also dump out corn around Feb 1 to see what should be around the next season...
