That's right, I'm headed to Colorado archery elk Sept 8-13. Man I've got a lot to do until then. Gonna rig my Mathews out for aluminum arrows, gotta decide on a broadhead. I've got to get in great shape, I ran 6 miles this evening on the eliptical, & 5.5 miles yesterday. I'm stoked. On a serious note, I might really need to borrow a pack for elk hunting? RH

I can send my grandson over with his elk call...he can really make a LOT of noise with it.....
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

What kind of hunt are you going on? Backpacking in or truck camping or? I've got a brand new Eberlestock Blue Widow I'm about to sell cheap. Ended up upgrading to a different pack. The Eberlestock can be used as a day pack or used to pack in 10 days worth of gear and pack the meat out if you get one down. Let me know if you wanna check it out. I'm in North Alabama too. I'll be out there for the first week of the season.
