FL is $280.00 and that grants 2 tags, and also the opportunity to purchase 2 more for $60 if there are leftovers. Also those are fl resident prices; non resident was a little over a grand

There are three areas they issue tags for. Up until this year you could apply an unlimited number of times for $6 per chance. I preferred the $6 unlimited chances myself. The only bright side to the new system is it saved me a lot of money. -------------------

I drew a tag the second year we had a season and killed a nice 10' gator north of the causeway. Hopefully I'll get lucky again this year. I'm glad they changed the draw system to accumulate points like similar big game draws out west.
