This property is near the Clifton area with Buffalo River frontage and not far from the TN River. It's close to the Perry Cty line with some property in Perry. It's 1503 acres and looks to have a lot of open land around it. Landowner says bean and corn is farmed in the area and crops may be going in on the leased tract in future years. I am mainly interested in the turkey hunting but some of the deer pictures are impressive as well. This has peeked my interest in the deer hunting.
I am thinking about putting a small group together (5 to 6) max and give it a try. Cost would be around $1500 each. It's been leased by 3 guys that have lightly hunted the place the last several years. Two were doctors so they didn't hunt much according to the land owner. There is no lodging on the property but does have power and water. Cloest lodging will be in the Clifton area as for hotel. Being is close to river may be something that can be rented at a reasonable price.
The deer will be managed for mature deer and very limtited to no guest if I control the lease. Group decesion on the guest will be made.
Anyone interested making this happen shoot me a PM.

Actually all of the 1500 acres sits in Wayne near Beech Creek Road and 288. He has some other properties that are in Perry and on the Buffalo River. He has sent me so much info I was confused on exactly what he had. I have it all figured out now.
Don't look like there is much interest in hunting that area anyway. I figured some of the north Bama guys looking for land would be interested since land is so hard to come by in Bama.

Fine area, I hunt close by and that area is loaded with deer and turkey. I'm definitely interested as my inlaws live up there so I'd have free lodging!
We are not perfect, only forgiven!!!

There are some real good deer in that area. The turkey population was once unbelievable. I've heard there was a big decline the last few years but I don't know other than hearsay.

Just realized I was in a club right off Beach Creek rd several years ago, too. Landowner was named Sammy. Don't remember his last name.

I'm not longer pursuing this tract of land due all that I have going on and little interest.
