Met my dad at the camp this morning and headed out to where he had seen a bird recently. I also saw a bird go to roost in the same location Thursday evening. We got in place and the rest is history. This bird was determined to die. He had no choice. 21 1/4 lbs (my personal heaviest bird) 1 1/8" spurs 9 3/4" beard

How about a little more of the story, ie. did he gobble much, fly off the roost to you, come running in with a bullseye on his head daring you to shoot, etc?
