Trump said the republicans had 218 last night but I am still seeing 216 or 217 from "news" sites. Maybe by 2024 we will know. In person or requested absentee voting only is the only way to fix these elections. It's an embarrassment to this country.

Not many of either party are what I would call "good guys". If they were they wouldn't be politicians. If republican leadership isn't shaken up then nothing will happen.

I'm pretty sure Boebert has her district wrapped up, but they won't call it because they don't want *her* to be the one to put the R's over the top.
EDIT: As I hit the post button, I checked Real Clear Politics. They now have the R's with 218. They called Garcia over Smith in Cali.

Well with just the House they can't remove anyone from office but they sure can ask some real uncomfortable questions under oath. Not a total victory but a partial one for certain.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

At least there will be a new speaker and not the corpse. I'm so tired of seeing her old bag of bones talking. She wont stop talking until she's underground. Like John McCain and Ted Kennedy and all those other ancient narcissistic assholes that end up in office until they are dead.
