What state would y’all go with if killing a big deer (140 and up) on public was priority?
Proximity to North AL non resident license fees and maybe duck opportunity being the only others.
Finally in a position to be able to plan/afford something. This year or next
I’ve though of Missouri and Kansas. But CWD is a factor now

Kansas if you can draw it Ohio otc and non resident ain't bad high Illinois license are high but they is some gooduns running around the Shawnee nf Shawnee seems to have been hit pretty bad with EHD. Just not seeing many deer in that part of the state anymore. Not saying you cant get one but I bet numbers are 25% of what they were a decade ago. I used to just ride around and count the bucks. Now I barely see any deer. Sure you'll see some bucks during rut, but it is way off from what it used to be. Although I could say the same for the west side of the river too.
